Sharing of infrastructure consulting firm AECOM

On 29 April 2026, S.5 students attended an AECOM sharing talk. Representatives from AECOM, a multinational infrastructure consulting firm, introduced the company’s background, core services, and the wide range of career pathways in the engineering industry.

 

The talk also featured students sharing their experiences from the AECOM work experience programme. Students described their daily work and learning tasks, including observing office routines, understanding how engineering teams collaborate, and gaining exposure to different specialised areas.

 

Through the sharing, students gained a clearer picture of how engineering projects are developed from initial planning to project management and implementation. The event highlighted the importance of real-world applications in large-scale infrastructure projects, and reinforced the importance of STEM education as well as essential soft skills such as communication, collaboration, and teamwork.

 

We hope the talk will inspire more students to explore future study and career opportunities in engineering and related fields.
